About the author

erica lewis lives in San Francisco where she is a fine arts publicist and curates the john oates house reading series. Her work has appeared in various anthologies and journals, including Apartment, Brooklyn Rail, BOMB, Bombay Gin, Boog City, Dusie, New American Writing, Octopus, and Sink, among others. Her books include the precipice of jupiter (Queue Books) and camera obscura (BlazeVOX Books), both collaborations with artist Mark Stephen Finein, and the solo projects murmur in the inventory (Shearsman Books, 2013) and daryl hall is my boyfriend (Barrelhouse, fall 2015). Chapbooks include voodoo child vintage church bird house/wood and excerpts from murmur in the inventory (Ypolita Press), and excerpts from camera obscura (EtherDome). She was born in Cincinnati, OH.

Megan Volpert is the author of five books on communication and popular culture, including two Lambda Literary Award finalists. She has been teaching high school English in Atlanta for the better part of a decade and was 2014 Teacher of the Year. She edited the American Library Association-honored anthology This assignment is so gay: LGBTIQ Poets on the Art of Teaching.
